“When I move into a neighborhood, I really try to become a part of the community. My favorite thing to do is find coffee shops to try out and meet the staff. Before I moved to Columbia Heights, I visited a bunch of coffee shops.

The evolution of 715 Euclid (near Banneker and Howard) continues with Chef Skip. Sounds very promising:
