In May a water main broke due to construction hitting it near Columbia Road & 11th Street NW (Columbia Heights Old Faithful). Since then, the intersection has been torn up and reconstructed 5-6 times. The other day they hit a waterline again.
They’re reconstructing it currently with drilling going past 11pm. There are also metal plates on top of the road to cover the holes in the ground that are loose so are pretty loud throughout the night/seem dangerous. Any advice on how to encourage DC to fix it all at once instead ripping it up and starting again each time?
