“Update: the two adult males located on scene have been pronounced.”

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in the 100 Block of Q Street, Northwest.

At approximately 3:58 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. (more…)

Just wanted to share what happened to me tonight (Thursday.) I was on Florida Ave and decided to walk home around 8pm. While I was on Rhode Island Ave near the gas station that has the Dunkin attached to it and waiting to cross the street, a man approached me and spit in my face. (more…)
