“The Metropolitan Police Department announced an arrest has been made in an assault with intent to commit first degree sexual abuse, involving an adult female victim, which occurred on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at approximately 1:30 am, in an alley in the 2400 block of 18th Street, Northwest.

On Sunday, January 25, 2015, 54 year-old Mickey Crawford was arrested by members of the Third District on the scene and charged with Kidnapping and Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Abuse.”

As a way of saying “Thanks for commuting in a healthy and sustainable way,” and “You must be freezing out there, better warm up!” and “Sure we’ve got amazing Pops, but have you tried our coffee?”, the cards will be attached with an elastic band to bike handles. Similarly, any cars that have been ticketed will also get a Cheer Card to help brighten their cruddy day.

“WE ARE MOVING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2015 is the final day that Planet Pet daycare will be open at our current address. The retail will be closed January 25th. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the late notice, and read on for more details about the move.

As you have heard, we have to relocate the business that we love so much. It has been difficult, stressful, and eye opening! We’ve spent an entire year searching high and low for the perfect space to house our amazing pack. In the coming days and weeks, please stay tuned for more details about the next phases. We need your suggestions to make our transition fit you!

We will continue to offer our services at our NEW franchise location in Arlington. However, Planet Pet Daycare will return to DC in 4-6 months. Retail and Grooming will be open much sooner at out new DC address. In the interim; we will be offering pick-up/drop-off services between Adams Morgan and the Virginia location via a doggie shuttle bus! Our first BarkBus stop will be at the current location. Pepper Spray Accidentally Discharged at Tryst Last Night

“Dear PoPville,

A friend and I were enjoying dinner and coffee around 8:15pm last night when everyone inside Tryst started coughing heavily. Within the next few moments everyone rushed out of the restaurant for fresh air. Obviously people were concerned considering the recent events in Paris and the smoke incident on the Metro this week. Someone from the crowd shouted that it might have been pepper spray, but I didn’t see or hear anyone get into a scuffle inside the coffee shop. Luckily, we had already paid our bill, so we made a quick exit, but when we drove by after leaving our parking space it looked like police and an ambulance were on the scene. Is this a common occurrence that people use pepper spray in a small public place?”

Ed. Note: Apparently it was an accidental discharge and all are ok. I think I’ve heard about a couple accidents like this in the past but it’s definitely not a common occurrence. Glad all are from last night!
