They’ve papered over all the windows (all the way to the back of the Liz) and there’s now a notice in the window indicating “Establishment with pre-packed food,” meaning we’re clearly getting an Amazon Go or some variation on it.” (more…)

Next week is now. The Streets Market in Adams Morgan soft opened on Saturday and based on the number of messages I received folks are indeed very very happy.

Thanks to the approximately 6,245 folks who sent emails about the new signage. In case it wasn’t clear, neighbors are moderately excited about this. I spoke with the owners and should have more clarity tomorrow about when exactly they will open next week. STANDBY.
This is the former Metro K grocery store that closed at the end of November 2018.
