I think I have passed some outdoors in Adams Morgan, and I know public libraries and supermarkets are good places, but I feel like I’m forgetting others.”

We live in Near North East, in the middle of 4 empty houses and a massive restaurant. Rats are becoming an increasingly alarming problem in our alley and now our front yards. We have burrows, nests (including under the hood or our cars) and feces everywhere. The rats have trampled a “highway” across our grass, there are so many. Last night I set 7 traps outside on our property, our usual routine. This morning I found (more…)

10th st between Quincy and Spring has been closed for a long time because of construction.
The building has been done for I think 2 months and no sign of work anymore, but they never reopened the road. It is paved and painted. Seems like they just forgot to pull down the fences. (more…)

I’m a closeted artist living in a digital marketer’s body. I have a bunch of concept ideas for a number of pieces but living in a 1 bedroom with a 100lb+ dog and 2 cats isn’t inducive for playing with paints, among other things. Does anyone in the popville community know of any art studio space available for day or hourly rentals? (more…)

Was wondering if anyone could help us out with this. Our exterior cable line needs to be replaced. It runs from our outside wall into the cable tap in the complex’s garage. Comcast won’t do it because we live in a condo and not an apartment complex. I’m having trouble finding a contractor that does exterior work of this kind.
Has anyone had this issue before or know anyone that can do this kind of work?”
