10th st between Quincy and Spring has been closed for a long time because of construction.
The building has been done for I think 2 months and no sign of work anymore, but they never reopened the road. It is paved and painted. Seems like they just forgot to pull down the fences.
It’s right on my bike commute to work. Other choices are 13th or Georgia..not good for bikes.
Sidewalk is open but always filled with dog walkers and strollers etc..”
Yesterday: “It looks like somebody ripped the fences down over the weekend by force. The fence supports are all bent and still chained together on the ground. The barriers are still in place but you could probably fit a car through. Detour signs still up. Maybe disgruntled locals?”
“update, as of 8am today fences are back up.”
