I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and concern regarding the current shuttle bus plan for the Green Line shutdown, which is scheduled from August 2nd to August 31st. As a federal employee who relies on the Green Line to commute to the Suitland Federal Center, the designated shuttle service is inadequate and has created a significant and unnecessary hardship for hundreds, if not thousands, of employees. I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experience or ideas for dealing with Pepco when they’re unresponsive, and if other readers have encountered this.
Our row house has been without power since July 1. Multiple electricians have tried—and failed—to locate the issue, only for Pepco to eventually come out and confirm that the problem was on their end: a faulty meter box that needs replacing. (more…)

How does this normally work, you need a permit for one of these things? Anyone know how frequently they need to be renewed/can be issued for?

A quick internet search tells me that this is a common mistake – people assume they don’t have to but in fact we do. We have no idea how to go about doing things with back years and all that, so we’re looking for a CPA/accountant who has experience with condo associations in the DMV area. Thanks!”
