Do you know what happened outside of The Guild apartments (Sunday night) in Navy Yard? I heard this super loud boom that I looked outside to see if it was a gunshot. I walked past maybe 20 minutes before and noticed a large whole in the exterior brick wall and noticed workers were digging a ditch beside the house. I was hit by a car as a pedestrian in a protected walkway and filed an insurance claim against the driver 5 months ago; insurance company answers my calls 10% of the time and basically tells me it’s pending. Medical bills are dueeeeee, is it lawyer time?? ):”

I was at the West End Library and passed in front of this home on 25th and L. On the lawn are these two small brick monuments. My guess is that they represent where a building once stood, but I’m not sure. Any guesses?”

Very strange request here! I have a lovely boyfriend who is the sweetest guy in the world but a couple of months ago he got a concussion and is suffering from memory issues. Yesterday he parked his car somewhere in Dupont Circle and since then he hasn’t been able to remember where he parked it. We called 311 and it hasn’t been towed. (more…)
