Knot Standard is located just west of Doi Moi at 14th and S St, NW. They are open by appointment only but you can take a look at their clothes here.
13th and U St, NW
Thanks to a reader for sending word that a new boutique, Rosies & Rockers, is moving into the former Boundless Yoga space on the second floor of 13th and U Street, NW.

Burberry is moving from their awesome downtown location at M and Connecticut Ave, NW. J Street Companies lists the property as available June 1, 2014:
“Iconic one-of-a-kind corner retail space on Connecticut Avenue. Available for the first time in 30 years.
Ideal location for a flagship retail store.”
Washington Business Journal hears they could be moving to CityCenterDC. I’ve also been hearing those rumors, so at this point it is very very likely to be true.
Looking forward to seeing who takes over this awesome old space on Connecticut Avenue too.
Good news for fans of Cowgirl Creamery located 919 F Street, NW. You can check out their cheeses here. Regular hours are Monday thru Saturday: 10am-7pm – plus now Sundays 12-5:
3533 14th Street, NW
Chickass first opened up back in 2011. Looks like they’re expanding next door into the former Second Hand Retail Shop at 3531 14th Street, NW. They were closed when I walked by but I suppose it’s possible they could be doing a retail shuffle like Pan Lourdes did a bit further south. I’ll update when more Chickass information becomes available.

A 7-11 is coming to one of the retail spaces at the newly renovated glass building on the corner of Vermont and L St, NW.
1805 Columbia Road, NW
The Medstar health clinic is now open in the former Blockbuster space on Columbia Road.
77 H Street, NW

Back in May we learned that they were hoping for a November 1st opening.
Clark Builders website says the projected completion is “February 2014”. But perhaps that is the entire building because Walmart says:
“On Monday (9/23), we will officially open two hiring centers: one for our H street store (@ 900 2nd St. NE) and one for our Georgia Avenue location (@ 7818 Eastern Ave. NW).
Our goal is to have both D.C. stores open by the end of this year.”

Filene’s went out of business back in the of 2011. The Marshalls opening up in the former space is having a grand opening on Wed. October 30, 2013 from 8am to 10pm.
