Located at 1319 F Street [formerly Noelia], Proper 21 will be a high-end sports bar serving All American classics with a gourmet twist created by Executive Chef Edward Janda. Proper 21 is the third location of NIEUW Group Inc.
Like its predecessors, located in New York City, Proper 21 will serve contemporary American cuisine. The space will maintain the modern aesthetic and New York style of the Manhattan locations, which have best been described as Tom Ford meets Thomas Edison. Good news late night noshers! From an email:
“We wanted to let you know that Fry Brothers will be opening as a permanent pop-up this Friday at Star and Shamrock on H Street NE. We’ll be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm-3am. We’ll be operating out of Bullfrog’s bagel bar space, and Star and Shamrock will be selling “Belgian Combos” featuring a cone of our fries and a beer.”
