M. reports around 6:40pm last night (Wed.): “At the four-way intersection of 1st and N Streets NW, 100 yards from the entrance to Dunbar HS. An intersection that feeds onto NY Ave and is mayhem during rush hours.”

“Alert: Shooting investigation in the 1600 Block of K Street NW. Lookout for a white BMW M535I bearing DC Tag # DLR05020 with a broken right mirror. Suspect: B/M wearing a black puffy coat, tall grey pants, and 6’2″.”

“Our school community is devastated by the news of the loss of Patricia Harris, a parent at Van Ness Elementary in Washington, DC. She was a mother to three children, ages 14, 8 and 4.

An innocent bystander, her life was needlessly taken in a drive-by shooting on December 21, 2023.

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a shooting that killed a woman in Northwest, D.C.

On Monday, January 1, 2024, at approximately 1:18 a.m., members of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District responded to the 4300 block of Military Road, Northwest, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a woman inside of a hotel room with gunshot wound injuries. She died at the scene. (more…)
