“There was a shootout just after 10am right in front of Randolph Towers at the 3902 14th St NW entrance. Two cars were shooting at each other. Most people said they heard 6 or 7 shots, but we hear the police found 14 shells at the scene. Two stray bullets flew through the window of a third floor condo. (more…)

As I was walking my dog, I heard a commotion around Newton and Brown Streets NW, saw someone moving some recycling bins, didn’t think anything of it, and kept walking toward Monroe. I had a run in with this lady back in June on the 1800 block of Columbia Road NW at the entrance of Kalorama Park.
It was at about 10pm and I was taking my dog out. She was walking on the street and kept staring at us. Then she walked across the street and kept staring then started walking toward us. (more…)

1800 block of Biltmore St, NW at noon, third district commander Jim Boteler made the actual arrest of an individual doing smash and grabs out of cars with a side of physical assault. The commander noticed that he had a bag in which there was a clearly visible gun, arrested the man and K9 found the gun Thrown away down the street.“
