A new beer garden, Valor Brewpub, opened up very quietly in Tenleytown at 42nd and Wisconsin. They have a truck set up in the parking lot next to the Bullfrog Bagel truck and have set up tables in front of the former bike store space (the bike store is still occupying the adjacent building). This one-day beer festival features local breweries pouring craft beers and cider: Silver Branch Brewing Co., Smoketown Brewing, Manor Hill Brewing, Streetcar 82, DC Brau, Peabody Heights Brewing Co, Union Craft Brewing, Anxo Cider, plus the Girl and the Vine, Zinnia, Takoma Bev Co.
