During adams morgan day on Sunday, I was at lost city books with a friend and we were using a stool to check out the top shelves. A cute guy in a paul cezanne shirt came up and started chatting with us and comparing heights. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,
I had a moment with a really cute guy I met at Murphy’s Irish Pub in Old Town Alexandria on Saturday night. (I know, not in DC…) I was walking downstairs from the second floor of Murphy’s with a shot of Jameson in my hand that had been handed to me by a friend. My long dress was flying all over the place and he was being nice and making me laugh as I was trying to get down the stairs and you know….not flash the entire bar. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,
Please help me find this man!
I was stopped on a scooter at New Hampshire and 18th (Tuesday 8/29 at around 9:40 pm) because my friend FaceTimed me for my birthday. You scooted up and joined the convo! Said you were going to Blues Alley??? to meet a friend and that I could join. Sadly I didn’t quite catch the bar name. Let’s scooter to a first date if you are interested and available.”

“Dear PoPville,
I am trying to find someone and I am hoping you can help. Two years ago I broke my ankle stepping in a hole in Lincoln Park. A very nice Australian man named Larry helped hold my dog, hand me my phone and stayed with me while I was picked up to go to the ER.
Apparently in May my dad who was visiting from out of town ran into this same man in Lovejoy Park. Knowing he is still in the area inspired me to reach out to you to see if I can find him. I have always wanted to thank him and would like the opportunity to talk to him. I appreciate any help I can get!”

“Dear PoPville,
At Saturday’s rock creek park square dance I shared a dance with an interesting woman wearing a blue dress! I was wearing a green swing dancing shirt and we chatted about swing and other dance shenanigans. Besides the spelling of each others names (mine with x, her’s with ph), didn’t learn too much about her besides that she’s the type of open hearted and kind human I’d like to find on another dance floor! :)”
