I was at the wiener dog races at the wharf last weekend. This man and I both were there solo and talked to an older couple while we waited for the races to start. He stood next to me for the first 8 heats cheering for the dog with the best name and commenting to me about the dogs. He said Steve would be the best name to cheer for.
He asked me about my dog who wasn’t there, and sat next to me for a bit while we waited for the next 8 heats (so many dogs) before getting up to move his legs. I meant to ask for his number! We were on the pier in the back corner and were watching via the Jumbotron. He got politely yelled at for being too close to the water.”
