Will bike rentals work in DC? Thanks to a reader for sending the above photo of a bike rental station being built on Rhode Island Ave at 14th Street. I remember reading that bike rentals have been a huge success in Paris, so will it work here in DC? I’m super psyched, it sounds like an awesome idea to me. Well, it’s easy to lock up I guess. But who on earth is going to steal a unicycle? I mean that takes mad skills to steal, no? Or at least steal and get away with it…

But why are they telling us how far we are from AU? I like the Eagles and all but why not tell us how far we are from GW or Georgetown?

Is it smart to keep your bike locked up on your front porch or is that just asking for it?

As you can see here Petworth has some very well marked bicycle only lanes. And as you can see here they are far superior to another city’s bike lane.
