AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

He thinks he climbed Mt. Everest in one of his previous lives so don’t be surprised to find him sleeping on top of your bookcases or refrigerator. He is just trying to recapture the feeling of lost glory! (And anyway the view is always better from above.)

Lit is very mellow tempered and does well with other cats. He likes to meet new people and he loves hanging out where all the action is!

She is smart, sassy, and a steadfast companion, especially if you have a slice of pizza in your hand. Bailey is great in the house – completely house trained and trustworthy around your sneakers. She also rides great in the car and isn’t bothered by noise or strangers. In fact, Bailey enjoys making friends with ALL the humans and loves the kids she has met so far. Although Bailey is looking to be the solo canine in her new home, she wants you to know that with her extraordinary ears and miniature mohawk, she is ALL the dog you will ever need!

“Here are Pondado, 1 (top), and Cintabun, 10 (bottom). New best friends, separated by 9 years and about 20 pounds. Cintabun is recovering from a recent face first fall from his second story apartment window. He was saved only by the lightness of his being and his positive outlook. Pondado is basically feral, totally sweet and growls out of affection. Both have wonderful eyes and good meows, and they enjoy each others company immensely. Cintabun and Pondado reside in Cleveland Park.”

Did you know Magnolia means gentle and loving? Magnolia does! This two-year-old sweetie lives up to her name. A Lab mix, Magnolia weighs about 54 lbs, and is looking for an active family to help her work off that Lab energy! Magnolia is good with other dogs and kids, and would also benefit from some obedience training – she’s currently working on it, but you gotta keep learning, right? This lovely girl is heartworm positive – she is not contagious to either other pets or humans, but will need some TLC following her treatment. Magnolia has lots of love to share! Meet handsome Mooney! This big fella is a true lover of humanity – he LURVES his people, and greets them at the door to have a snuggle and talk about how his day went! Mooney is very outgoing, but wants to be the only cat, because that’s how you get all the attention from people! He is about 6 ½ years old, and recently lost some weight after being a bit to the bad side of curvy. Mooney is doing well on a prescription weight control diet, and his new family will need to continue that for his optimal health!
