I remember looking at these homes when they first were renovated. I think this whole section of 8th Street, NW was renovated by the same group. As I’m dealing with some house issues right now (more on that later) I’m starting to get envious of these renovated ones. This unit is going for $413,900. Unit 1 is going for $388,000. Do you think unit 2 is worth around $25k more than #1? Do you like the renovation?

I want to know what your readers feel on the gay marriage issues popping up in dc…could we do a poll on what level of recognition to give to gay couples? And also how does the community feel about the pro and anti sides of the argument (it seems like a lot of anti movement is coming from md and va)…”

For the record I think gay marriage should be legal in DC and the entire country for that matter. I am going to Toronto in September for a friend of mine who is getting married there because she couldn’t in DC. And I hate Toronto… Ed. Note: I don’t really hate Toronto.

An Update on the Raven Renovations

“The deal is they are trying to return to the original old look with booths from an old restaurant and neat retro light fixtures according to Merid. I ran into him out front he let me snap a few pics and said they would complete with the “oldfurb” in a couple days!”

Shots Fired on Crittenden Thursday Night

“Shots fired. No victims discovered. MPD. Investigating. See the report from 4d. Below:

4d units on the scene of 5th and Crittenden in reference to the sounds of gunshots. Shell casings were located and units stopped a vehicle matching the lookout of a fleeing vehicle. There are no reports of property damage and we do not have any personal injuries. The investigation is continuing.
