This address has a special place in DC’s vintage story: once upon a time it was 1830 Vintage (@1830_vintage), a local favorite that furnished many of DC’s most stylish apartments (including mine!). Update: A reader shares that the closure is for good: “Unsure what will become of the space but I believe the Nats own the space.”

Thanks to Matt for sending: “Nats Park BetMGM closing soon”. Anyone know if this is just for the season?

Tortoise on the Loose!! Keep Your Eyes Peeled for Piotr last seen in Woodley Park

“Dear PoPville,

Our Russian tortoise, Piotr ( named after Peter the Great) has gone walkabout. Last seen a week ago at 32nd and Klingle Road, perhaps heading for Rock Creek Park. He has lived with us for 27 happy years; we and our neighbors, local schools, as well as everyone we see walking, jogging, or dog walking we can corral has been asked to be on the look out.”
