Join Oyster Oyster and Maryland’s Old Westminster Winery for one night only at a special event launching the new wine “Brine.”

Old Westminster Winery has just launched Brine — a wine for oysters. Brine is a crisp, Vinho Verde–style blend that is our tribute to the Chesapeake and its oysters, nature’s own delicious tool for restoring the Bay, right in time for wild oyster season starting October 1.  (more…)

Ed. Note: This is the first time I’ve seen one over “War Memorial Arlington”. Does “War Memorial Arlington” refer to the US Marine Corps War Memorial? The Air Force Memorial? Or is that how they are referencing Arlington National Cemetery (most common sight of flyovers) now?

You can see Arlington National Cemetery’s Daily Funeral Schedule here. Their page currently says:

“Due to the lapse in appropriations, Arlington House — including its gift shop and restrooms — and the Air Force Memorial are closed. ANC remains open.”
