“Dear PoPville,

I was looking through the archives and it looks like the last tattoo artist rec post is pretty old; can we pop this question up there again? I have an idea formed from a watercolor flower illustration that I’d love to get tattooed, but I have no idea where to start looking for someone who can do fine line/watercolor/super colorful, etc. I’m willing to travel for the right artist, but I’d love to stay in DC or nearby if at all possible.

“Julia’s Empanadas which has been coming soon for about a year is finally open on 17th Street. I had a great Chilean beef empanada yesterday. A little pricey at $8.50, but it was a pleasant surprise to have no request for an additional tip!”
