GRECO Opens in Union Market Tomorrow (Thurs.) “$1 pitas on opening day for the first 100 guests.”

“Greco Truly Greek eatery is psyched to share that their second D.C. location will open on Thursday, April 2, in the Union Market District at 1285 4th Street NE, Unit B.

The newest Greco fast casual eatery in the Union Market District occupies a welcoming, bright and airy space of just over 1,777 square feet with seating for up to 20. Greco will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

To celebrate the opening of Greco’s new Union Market location, guests can enjoy $1 pitas on opening day for the first 100 guests. Greco also has an app that is available for iOS and Android and is offering $5 off first time orders with the code TRULY GREEK.”

ICYMI: Last week, All Purpose Riverfront Still Closed in Navy Yard. Reopening Soon?

UPDATE: A rep from All Purpose writes me, “It’s been a great eight years at that space, but All Purpose Hospitality Group has decided to focus efforts on the original All-Purpose location in Shaw and AP Pizza Shop in Bethesda, along with an Aventino coming to IAD this fall.”

Was just told All Purpose Riverfront is closed for good. They canceled my reservation for an event next month😭”

“Dear PoPville,

Wondering if you might be able to crowdsource a solution to the mystery of this establishment on Park Road NW. It’s clearly been closed for months and looks abandoned, yet Yelp still says it is “open.” It’s disappointing because Mi Cuba Cafe was replaced with this eyesore.”

Mayor Bowser: “deeply disappointed by the Council’s decision to allow the juvenile curfew zones to expire.”

Mayor Bowser writes last night:

“I am deeply disappointed by the Council’s decision to allow the juvenile curfew zones to expire.

We all want our young people to be able to socialize in age-appropriate ways and in environments that are safe for themselves, for their peers, and for the entire community.

But as adults, we cannot abdicate our responsibility to respond to behaviors that put young people or our community at risk.

I urge the Council to reconsider.
