“Dear PoPville,

I’m a Foggy Bottom resident living at one of the condo buildings at 26th and K St. There’s a lovely free little library box in the park on 26th St that has amassed quite the collection recently. It’s not associated with the Little Free Library Network (I actually did look this up). Unfortunately, yesterday it got so many books that the bottom shelf collapsed. (more…)

“This morning, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and District Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) issued a “Code Purple” air quality alert for Washington, DC for Thursday, June 8. A Code Purple air quality alert indicates very unhealthy air conditions for the entire public, not just those with respiratory illnesses.
