“Deaer PoPville,
A very handsome human struck up a conversation with me as I was walking up 14th Street on Saturday (June 3rd). He exited Ron the Barber / Trina’s Hair Gallery, and exclaimed, “wow, what a beautiful day”. I turned to smile and agree, at which point he asked if he could walk and chat with me, mentioning he was trying to connect with strangers more. I was immediately taken with his confidence and friendliness that I said “yes”.
(Him: black shirt, jeans, freshly cut hair, sunglasses, amazing smile; Me: frizzy hair in a bun with a cloth headband, navy blue tank, jean shorts)

Im wondering what the status is of DC business not accepting cash. I thought a law was passed that forced business in DC to accept cash but then it was on pause during the public health emergency but since that is over, can a restaurant deny cash as payment? If not who can I report this to?”
