“The Russian invasion of Ukraine continues, so we’re doing the only things we know how to do, which is make jokes and raise money: DC’s best immigrant and first generation comedians will be at the Yours Truly DC hotel on Thursday June 15th at 8pm for another humanitarian stand up show.
This is our fourth show, and we’ve already raised almost $20,000 from tickets and donations!
We’ve moved to a new venue so we can sell more tickets, raise more money and give more folks a fun Thursday night!
We’re raising money for Kyiv’s ProEnglish Theater, which has had to perform underground (quite literally) because of the war, and for the Operation Renew Prosthetics, a collective providing prosthetics for Ukrainian soldier amputees injured in the war.
Tickets are $20 and all proceeds go to the causes.
