Update from a reader: “The flex posts are called daylighting an intersection. It makes it easier for drivers to see pedestrians crossing the sidewalk when cars aren’t parked close to it. These concrete or flex post bulb outs are all over the city! Once you start looking for them, you’ll see them everywhere.” (more…)
