Sharing a scary interaction with a driver that apparently has a lot of anger towards cyclists. Curious if anyone else has had this experience. I was on my bike around 545am when the driver became very hostile toward me. Without any interaction or prompting, he starts screaming at the top of his lungs from inside the car “F*** YOU” repeatedly. This is my second encounter with the same driver. (more…)

This latest heat wave makes me realize I must cover my southern-facing alley parking pad with a 2 car carport. Can we ask the community to see who has done something similar? Anything creative to provide shade for cars? Any good contractors to work with or anyone to stay away from? Any advice on how to navigate the city permitting process?“
