“The Washington Navy Yard will conduct a ceremonial gun salute along the waterfront (River Walk) in honor of former President Carter on January 9, 2025, at 12:00PM. The rounds (loud) will be fired at one-minute intervals until 21 rounds have been fired.”

Spotted a drone flying over Petworth. The video is zoomed in, but wondering if there have been other sighting. I know MPD has a drone program. Could it be from that?”

Another reader asks last night: “Any reports of what looks like an RC helicopter or drone flying over Navy Yard area? I can see one, very odd.”
