Updated Images: Vehicle and Persons of Interest Sought in Shooting in the 1200 Block North Capitol Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle and two persons of interest in connection with an Assault with Intent to Kill incident in which 13 people were injured as a result of the gunfire in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, NW.

On Monday, March 11, 2013, approximately 2:10 am, two vehicles of interest were captured by surveillance video as they drove by a building in the block. Occupants of at least one vehicle fired shots into a group of individuals on the sidewalk.

The vehicle that police are searching for is described as a black or dark blue 1999 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 coupe, bearing DC tags EF7810.

Subject #1 who is shown below is identified as 19-year-old Andrew Davon Allen. He is described as a black male, 5-feet-eight inches tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes, black hair with a medium complexion.

Subject #2 who is shown below is identified as 19-year-old Craig Wilson. He is described as a black male, 6-feet-2 inches tall, 140 pounds, brown eyes, black hair with a dark complexion.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this assault.

The Metropolitan Police Department has announced an arrest has been made in connection with an Assault with Intent to Kill incident in which 13 people were injured as a result of the gunfire in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, NW.

On Friday, March 15, 2013, 19-year-old Craig Steven Wilson of Southeast DC, was arrested by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Assault with Intent to Kill.

The vehicle that police were searching for has been located.

Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
