WHAT:
Ukraine Focus, a Washington-area humanitarian nonprofit that provides ambulances, medical supplies and other lifesaving equipment to Ukrainian first responders, will hold a community cleanup in the area surrounding the Russian Embassy as part of the District of Columbia’s
Adopt-A-Block program.
The August 15 event will bring together Ukraine Focus volunteers and supporters to care for a section of Washington while drawing attention to the organization’s ongoing humanitarian mission in Ukraine. The event will include a cleanup of the area directly in front of the Russian Embassy, along with remarks from Ukraine Focus leadership and invited guests.

On August 15, the organization will bring that spirit of service to Washington, taking responsibility for the care of a local area through the District’s Adopt-A-Block program.
