From a press release:

“Mezeh Mediterranean Grill is celebrating the opening of its newest location, Mezeh Capitol Hill, at 333 Pennsylvania Ave. SE on Feb. 6. The new restaurant will bring fresh Mediterranean flavors to the Capitol Hill neighborhood, offering an upbeat, fast-casual dining experience.

“D.C. has one of the richest food and culture scenes in America — we’re fully ready to contribute to that,” said Steve Walker, corporate chef and head of operations. “This opening is the perfect opportunity for us to share our bold menu with the area’s vibrant community.”

This expansion into the heart of Washington marks a significant milestone for the Mediterranean chain, which currently boasts two other Washington locations at Skyland Town Center and Dakota Crossing, as well as a host of other stores across the DMV.

“This is definitely one of my favorite stores from a design perspective,” said Tarek Musfer, director of construction. “It was very important to us to incorporate D.C.’s influence and style.”

As is tradition, Mezeh will throw a grand opening and welcome party on Feb. 6 to celebrate the new store and get to know the neighborhood. Each customer will receive a free bowl with the purchase of a drink from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 pm and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30pm.

“We’ve received a lot of buzz in Capitol Hill,” Walker said. “In the hustle and bustle here, we can’t wait to be a go-to spot for healthy yet quick options, like our savory Classic Shawarma Flatbread Wrap, vibrant Mezeh Greek Salad Bowl or one of our hearty, flavor-packed rice and salad bowls—each made fresh daily with wholesome, high-quality ingredients.”

Capitol Hill is Mezeh’s 52nd store and will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., serving up rice and salad bowls, flatbread wraps, pita pockets, mediterranean pizzas and more.”
