Wanted to follow up with you on your post about the Amazon thefts on Connecticut Ave. Last week our building in Columbia Heights had a similar but slightly different issue. We had an Amazon delivery driver come in to make several deliveries (in Columbia Heights.) Once he delivered them to each apartment, he took a photo as they normally do to certify delivery, and then we believe picked the packages back up and took them with him.
There was no one else who came in with him (I know this because I am the one who let him in and watched him get on the elevator), and this happened on at least two floors of our building. We’re still awaiting to hear from the residents what Amazon has responded with when they reported it, but will update you if/when we hear.
Too many shenanigans going on in this town!”
