From a press release:

“Ice Cream Jubilee, DC’s premier ice cream shop, announces a new Georgetown location celebrating their grand opening on March 21st, 2024. Located at 3333 M St. NW, Washington, DC 20007, the new shop will sit in the heart of Georgetown, providing shoppers, visitors, students and neighbors in the area with tasty treats ranging from ice cream scoops, to sundaes, to root beer floats, to dairy-free soft serve. In January 2024, the business shared a social media post with the caption, “Ice Cream Jubilee is expanding to four new locations and opening an ice cream truck” giving their followers a hint of expansion plans for the year.

Since 2014, Ice Cream Jubilee has created fun and whimsical flavors with a focus on using clean and pure ingredients. Best known for their unique seasonal flavors like Red Bean Almond Cookie and Mango Sticky Rice, the local business has built a loyal and passionate following of customers across the DMV. Ice Cream Jubilee also offers vegan and dairy-free options, including their newest addition to the menu: dairy-free soft serve, a delectable treat made of ripe bananas frozen and swirled with peanut butter or chocolate.

Laura O’Shaughnessy, CMO of Ice Cream Jubilee shared her excitement about the new Georgetown location, “The unwavering support and enthusiasm of our customers inspired us to expand, and we can’t wait to serve our ultra-premium ice cream to even more dessert enthusiasts. We are committed to providing an extraordinary experience with every scoop and becoming an integral part of the Georgetown community.”

Ice Cream Jubilee is offering $1 scoops to the first 250 customers who stop by the Georgetown shop for grand opening day. The local scoop shop, with existing locations in Navy Yard and Ballston, also has an established loyalty program called the Sundae Club. Customers can join the free loyalty program to earn free scoops and pints and for exclusive perks like early access to new flavors and special discounts.”

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
