“Any advice other than screaming would be of assistance.”

“Dear PoPville,

Below is a list from DC Parking tickets website. The vehicle has been parked with a flat tire for several months.

It also has been ticketed for parking on the back side street of Henry Cooke school. I am quite frankly sick and tired of having to either write DC311 tickets. There are tons of Out of State vehicles without a parking form to legally park in DC. Now, with this vehicle, they are not going to do anything because there are too many tickets!! I tried the abandon vehicle route with DC 311 and they deemed it as not abandoned although tons of tickets and a flat tire. I would really like to know whom to call to get a vehicle towed. Yes, I have contacted my Ward ! council useless Nadeau. I have ask her several times on what to do and they are working on it. I realize DC definitely has issues more important than this vehicle. I am sick and tired of writing DC311 tickets and they often are closed without an explanation. Brianne stated they don’t have the funds, but I beg to differ. If a car doesn’t have a parking permit, then they should apply a ticket. If they were writing tickets for Out of State violations, they would more than pay the salary. This is happening in every Ward. I am wondering if there is someone that can direct me on what to do besides keep writing DC311 tickets. I have friends that have to ride around the neighborhood looking for parking because of all the out of state tags.
Here is the criteria to be towed on DC website: In the District of Columbia, the DC Department of Public Works (DC DPW) boots or tows vehicles that have two or more 61-day-old, unpaid tickets which this vehicle is applicable.

Any advice other than screaming would be of assistance.”

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
