Free ice cream sandwiches alert!

From a press release:

Beginning August 16, 2023, D.C. residents are in for a treat as MOLTN Cookies, the ghost kitchen bakery serving baked to order cookies, opens a new location in Dupont Circle. Celebrating the grand launch, the bakery will serve up free ice cream sandwiches to the public from 12 pm to 2 pm on opening day.

This unique venture sees MOLTN Cookies partnering with Teddy & The Bully Bar, a fine dining restaurant located at 1200 19th St NW. In a recent comment on the partnership, Alan Popovsky of Teddy & The Bully Bar said, “we are excited to have this great new brand hit inside the DC lines. I’ve seen what they have done in Arlington. Our staff is looking forward to bringing this outstanding product to the city.” Customers can look forward to a menu of fresh-baked cookies, ice cream, and other sweet delights, made to order and available for pickup or delivery. The cookies are delivered warm and the ice cream cold, ensuring an exceptional dessert experience.

Neal Miglani, owner of MOLTN Cookies, is excited about the expansion. “As the ghost kitchen concept has continued to gain traction, we saw a prime opportunity to serve our freshly baked, warm cookies to a wider market. With D.C.’s vibrant food scene, it was an obvious choice for our next location.”

The menu features all the favorites from the Arlington shop, including Red Velvet, Triple Chocolate, S’mores, and seasonal offerings like Pumpkin White Chocolate Pecan. The sweet treats are perfectly paired with fresh ice cream and milk, sourced from South Mountain Creamery in Middletown, MD.

Orders can be placed through moltncookies.com, Uber Eats, and DoorDash, with plans for an in-house kiosk ordering system in the coming months. The business hours align with Teddy & The Bully Bar, providing D.C. residents with warm cookies whenever the craving hits.

“D.C. is a culinary hotspot, and we’re thrilled to add our unique offerings to the mix,” says Miglani. “The positive response we received in Arlington gave us the confidence to broaden our reach. We’re excited to serve the D.C. community and look forward to becoming a firm favorite.”

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
