A retail business owner’s large car with Maryland plates regularly blocks alleys and driveways in the neighborhood. A while ago it started displaying this “Visitor Parking Permit” (I’ve marked out personally identifiable information) on the dashboard and staying all day in spaces restricted to residents. The format looks legit,
and there’s a new one with current dates every 2 weeks, but none of the information or discussion I’ve followed about DC’s visitor parking permits suggests that there’s anything like this. Is it a real thing? Or are they being sold like paper “temporary tags”?”
