“Dear PoPville,
Yesterday I witnessed a hit-and-run, where the driver of a small sedan sideswiped a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was yelling at the driver trying to get them to stop, but the driver was not stopping, for at least the couple blocks I could see (eastbound on L St.).
Who: Rider of a Yellow motorcycle
When: Thursday 3/16/2023 @ 5:35pm
Where: 14th and L Sts NW (eastbound L St.)
I witnessed the whole event, and would like to find the victim to see if he’s ok, and help in any way I can. Unfortunately the driver’s license plate was obstructed from my vantage point for most/all of the incident. Hopefully the motorcyclist eventually got the person to stop or noted the license plate.”
