“I wanted to share a very sad hawks around town sighting– two days ago we found our beautiful Eckington neighborhood hawk deceased in our front yard. I believe it was a victim of poisoning via a rat snack,
having seen it flying around strong just a few days before. I know many people are aware of the dangers for four-legged friends of indiscriminate rat poison disbursement, but this just shows how the damage can go up the food chain as well.”
