Quest for the Best: Breakfast Spot

1432 Park Road, NW

“Dear PoPville,

I’m reaching out the Popville community to crowdsource recommendations for a breakfast spot. Here’s the criteria:

Open by 8:30 on a Saturday morning,
Full breakfast menu (think eggs, omelettes, pancakes, et cetera); not just pastry’s, sandwiches, or avant garde foods,
Reasonably priced ($15 per person not including tip); yes, we can afford more, but we’re really looking for a hole in the wall with solid food.

Places that we’ve been and mostly meet the above criteria:

Murry & Pauls, Heat Da Spot, Jimmy T’s, The Coupe (and its sister restaurants), and Lincoln’s Waffle Shop. Ted’s Bulletin and Unconventional Diner also work, but miss on the reasonably priced criteria.

Hoping that people will share some of their favorite neighborhood spots for us to try!”
