Genuinely curious about people’s thoughts on standing in a street parking space to save it. This has been happening to me more and more recently in Mount Pleasant where I live and I honestly think it is one of the most rude and selfish behaviors.
Everyone knows street parking is tight and it can be hard to find spots. It is a public spot and is first-come, first-serve. If you are standing in a spot and someone comes to park in it, they should absolutely be able to park there. It blows my mind that people think this is acceptable behavior, but I’m curious if I’m alone in that thinking or not.”
