“Man exposing himself on the Met Branch Trail – NoMa” – Another Possible Sighting of Flasher near Lincoln Park

“Dear PoPville,

Unclear if this is related to the flasher that has been reported in the Lincoln Park/Capitol Hill area. This morning around 6AM, I was walking on the Met Branch Trail near NoMa to get to the Metro station. As I went down the stairs from the trail to the Second Avenue entrance,

there was a man at the top of the stairs who was sitting in the elevator alcove smoking and pleasuring himself. I called Transit PD and also called the DC Community Response Team (202-673-6485). Not sure if they were able to make contact with the person. Folks in the NoMa/Eckington/Capitol Hill area should be on the lookout.”

Update from another reaeder:

“I might’ve encountered the same flasher on Kentucky Ave. SE just north of the Safeway on the way to Lincoln Park the other day. He was sitting on someone’s stairs, and, as I usually do, I said hello, but then noticed what he was doing, which was apparently masturbating. And then I continued on my way but warned some oncoming pedestrians with children to take another route. I probably should’ve reported it but I was stunned a bit. It was a shocking encounter but not as dramatic as he didn’t engage with me thankfully. I guess it’s just a warning that he’s still out there in the neighborhoods around Lincoln Park.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
