I wanted to send an update on these posts.
Thanks to the helpful posts I read on popville previously, I did not give any money to the scammer couple when they approached me… they seemed to have moved to operate at around the 14 and K Streets, NW area,
with the same spiel, very polite initially, stopped me to ask if they could asked me a question. Introduced themselves and said that they had just moved here for law school and got locked out of their apartment.
Like in previous posts, they are a couple who appear to be in their mid-30s, Black man and white woman with brown hair, both of thin build.”
