Last night I was enjoying date night at Doi Moi when someone opened my purse hanging off my chair and stole my wallet. I’m devastated and feeling like my faith in humanity is broken since this is the second time in 1 year I’ve been robbed. I didn’t see who did it and didn’t notice it was gone until I got a fraud alert from my bank. I send this in to warn people to not let your guard down like I did. The restaurant was super dark so nobody, including my boyfriend across the table, saw it,
or at least the ones I asked. My cards were used at what I assume is the (relatively nearby) Columbia Heights target, and I handled that process, but my vaccine card and a precious family photo were both in the wallet. If anyone finds and returns the wallet, a purple Coach accordion zip, or any of the contents, I would be forever grateful.”
