Following up on this post from last summer – “I was approached by this man, a lot of other women were too in Logan circle”, I was approached on 18th and H today (Tues.) in the early afternoon by a man asking where Peet’s coffee was.
He then asked what other good coffee shops were in the area since he had just moved from Brooklyn, NY. After providing several answers, he told me it was nice to talk to someone on the street and then insisted we get coffee, took out his phone and told me to give him my cell number (which I did–but do not do this). He then hugged and kissed my cheek, completely without my consent. At this point and in a state of shock, I just walked away and said “I have to go.” He then followed up via text to meet up for coffee. I think this is the same guy, and I want to put everyone on high alert. It was incredibly uncomfortable and unsettling.”
