Missed Connection – Biking at 11th and Irving St, NW

“Dear PoPville,

Last Friday around 6:30pm at the intersection of Irving and 11th street I was biking in a grey sweater and shorts with a backpack that had a yoga mat sticking out of the top, and I caught up to a guy who was biking in front of me in brown pants and a white shirt at the red light.

He glanced behind once before turning around again to jokingly ask if I was going too slow for him. We chatted briefly about how good the weather was and how he had just gotten a new chain on his bike before the light turned green and our conversation was cut short as we went our separate ways. He was super cute and had really good energy, and I think there might have been something there but I was too slow to ask for his number! Would love the chance to find this guy!”

Ed. Note: If this is you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made. The blasphemous rat hybrid MC was made!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
