I was sitting in the outside dining area of Colada Shop on 14th and T St NW (Monday) at 4.15 pm when an individual in a ski mask started harassing the woman sitting behind me and then later myself, asking for money and verbally abusing us for not helping him. He slammed her laptop down and intimidated her and then came over to me.
As you can see in the picture, he was leaning over me. At one point, he tried to grab my phone and demanded that I go to a nearby ATM to give him money if I didn’t have cash. The woman behind me made a short video of my interaction. The individual eventually walked away and we were unhurt (though definitely shaken by the experience).
