“Dear PoPville,
I was on a scooter returning home a Saturday night around 10:30pm in NOMA, I stopped at an intersection to check my phone (probably shouldn’t have done that since it was late, and there weren’t many people about) and I felt a car slowing down behind me, so I turned around and the car stopped, engine still running and lights on and 4 or 5 guys jumped out of the car
and started walking towards me, one of them said “oh don’t worry” and they started laughing. Thankfully my brain my just said go go go and I took off on the scooter.
I don’t know what would have happened, but I got a horrible feeling and I can’t explain why they would all get out like that and walk towards me.
I just want to warn other ladies out there, be careful at night and try to stay near populated roads as much as possible if you are alone.
