“ISO Good Samaritan who helped w/steaming Jeep hood”

“Dear PoPville,

I’m in search of a Good Samaritan who helped me when my car broke down in Petworth earlier today (Tuesday), and hoping you can help connect us so I can return items he lent me to get my car running again.

At around 11 a.m. today (Tuesday April 13), a man saw that the hood of my red Jeep was erupting steam and brought me a container of water and a rag before going back inside.

Unfortunately I was so stressed out that I forgot his name (Aaron?) and where he said he lived (Rock Creek Church Road?), but I’d like to return his items. I got the car running long enough to get home, where it promptly crapped out again, BTW.

Note: this is not a missed connection — just grateful to have gotten the help and want to return his stuff.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
