An extraordinarily kind and very strong gentleman fished me and my dog out of the Anacostia River this morning [Sunday] and back onto a dock near Navy Yard – no small feat as I’m 7 months pregnant…
I’ll never forget his kindness and heroism. (I’ll also never again let my dog off leash by the river. Lesson learned!)
I don’t have any contact information for him but would love to acknowledge his good deed publicly.”
