“Any idea what to do with absentee ballots sent to your address for people who no longer live there?”

Been getting, unfortunately, a lot of messages about this:

“Dear PoPville,

I have a question on what to do with the (no less than) 5 ballots DC has sent to my address, all for different people.

My partner and I just moved into a new townhouse on the Hill, and we’ve received 5 absentee ballots so far to this address, all in other people’s names. I’m assuming this is from the townhouse having been a rental for several years. Do we return to sender? Is there some office to drop these off at? Do I shred them/securely dispose of them?

Talked to my partner and she told me she securely disposed of the two we got last week. These three (!) came yesterday, here’s the photo of them. We haven’t even gotten ours yet.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
